Well, after two reschedulings with Cindie, our midwife (babies will be born right in the middle of scheduled appointments, you know!), we finally got to go over all ultrasound results.
Drumroll.....
All is perfectly on track! Praise the Lord! Cindie is very pleased. All measurements look good. It's quite remarkable, actually, to get to see the report written out. How the experts can read all that information from those images is absolutely amazing to me! How God can make Lizzie so beautifully and completely is the bigger miracle...I am in awe.
A few gems...
* The placenta is posterior this time.
* Lizzie is currently in breech position, although with all the flipping she's doing, Cindie says it's irrelevant).
* Lizzie's femur is 36 mm long, and her humerus is 33 mm long!
In other news, we are so looking forward to our NM vacation! It will be wonderful to have time to relax and rest as well as see family! The rest part may be up to Lizzie, though. She seems to be ravenous at about 3:45 every morning. Good grief!

Flippin' and Turnin'!
Well, I wish I had a picture to share...this child is a wiggle worm, no doubt about it! It's been so fun to smile at her wiggling...it seems to mean so much more now that we know she is our daughter. It's also fun to speculate on her personality. Danny continues to remind me of my strong will...hmmm, that could be fun...and not so unlikely with the punches this kiddo is throwing. :) We'll see.
As we were talking on Father's Day, we realized that one of the things we are looking forward to the most is the opportunity to give little Lizzie the tools she needs to live and serve well. So, strong will or no, we are thrilled with the privilege of raising her in the knowledge of God Almighty and in the grace of His Son's work on the cross. Praise the Lord that He continues to transform us and that He has given and will give us what we need to love and teach our daughter well.
We have an appointment with our midwife, Cindie, tomorrow. We'll go over the ultrasound and begin to think ahead a little bit. That thinking ahead can be a little tricky, and we would appreciate your prayers. I am continually thankful for the faith and trust Danny has in this process. It is such a blessing to be encouraged daily by him as I seem to struggle more.
What a merciful Father we have to carry us in this walk that can seem so uncertain. As we think on Father's Day this past Sunday, we are grateful for our Father in heaven and His gentle ways with us these past 21 weeks, and we look forward to the coming months in the knowledge and faith that He will provide for us exactly enough for whatever comes.

Presenting Lizzie!
It has once again been too long since I posted. I have to confess that I was waiting for this day to begin again in posting. So, without further ado...
Presenting Lizzie!
Isn't she darlin'? I love her little foot...what a precious little one she is. I am amazed that the Lord is knitting her in my womb. What a gracious and mighty God we serve.
As soon as I figure out how to upload the video without an error, you can watch her wiggle around...she's an active little girl!
We'll meet with our midwife to look at the results of the ultrasound in detail, but for now we are content with and grateful for the radiologist's thumbs up. All looks good so far! Would you keep praying with us? We'll keep you posted on any details forthcoming (like a full name!).
I thought I'd throw in a couple more pics for good measure (two from our anniversary camping/hiking trip on Vancouver Island and one from Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC)...
